Introduction:
To begin with, I would like to introduce our competition to you in more detail. Together with fellow modellers, we decided to organize it in a slightly different spirit than usual. The main theme of the exhibition will be civil engineering, cars, trucks, motorcycles... Of course, all categories such as military equipment, airplanes, figurines... will be represented as usual.
Basic information:
The exhibition will be held: September 2, 2023
The place: Kultúrnu dom Borský Mikuláš, Smuha 1/2, 908 77 Borský Mikuláš, SLOVAKIA
There is a barrier-free entrance to the KD Borský Mikuláš premises.
The venue of KD Borský Mikuláš is located approx. 19 km from the Kúty D2 highway exit
Admission for the public: Free
Timetable:
8:00 - 10:00 - Registration of models
10:00 – 10:15 – Opening with a speech
9:00 – 15:00 – Exhibition of models for the public
10:30 - 15:00 - Evaluation of models
15:30 – 16:00 – Announcement of results
Rating of models:
The models will be evaluated by several teams consisting of a 3-member jury in the form of like/dislike, made up of modelers who actually build the models of the given category.
Three winners will be selected in each category.
In the event that there is a low representation of models in some category, the category will be merged with another.
On the contrary, if there is a strong participation in some category - another award may be given.
Awards:
Awarded in the Senior category A1 - A11 will receive - a diploma, a special award
Prize winners in other Senior categories will receive - a diploma, a plaque
The winner in the Pupil/Junior category will receive – a diploma, a plaque, plastic model
Furthermore, various special awards given by clubs and sponsors.
Accompanying program:
Workshops - will be held in the cinema hall located in the KD Borský Mikuláš building
11:00 – 12:30 – Marek Zindulka – Weathering of military equipment
13:00 - 14:30 - Jan Merhaut - how to chrome and shiny surfaces
Throughout the day - painting figures for wargaming (at the TabletopWargaming.sk point of sale)

Each competitor pays the registration fee only once for any number of models he exhibits.
Model display is as always at your own risk, tables will be fenced off and supervised by the organizing team.
Organizers are not allowed to compete.
